Who’s Missing In Your Area?

Media for the Missing is a 501c3 organization.

Our mission is to serve as a media outlet to help increase awareness for missing and unidentified loved ones, through multiple viewing methods using a live stream technique.

I was first introduced to the world of the missing when I researched an update on a particular case.  I couldn’t believe how many people were missing.

My first thoughts were: Why have I not heard about any of these cases?… Why do I not know 5 people are missing in my own area?…How do they pick who is going to be on which program?

 WHY, WHY AND HOW?

After researching the different platforms of how  information was being displayed,  honestly, I prayed on how to expand a highly visual… ‘something’… to KEEP information continuously visible, dispite viewer’s location.

Media for the Missing then evolved:  Display multiple highly viewable methods, operated from one location.

My background:

Ret. Correctional SGT  after  several years in the medical field; E.R, post-op neuro and ortho.

In ’96, I organized a ‘Kids Watch’,  with 98% participation.

Also organized a ‘Neighborhood Watch’, with a 99% participation.

Although I have never felt the emotions of a missing loved one,  I have felt the pain of loss, uncertainty, anger, sleepless nights, bargaining, pleading with God, and waiting, waiting, waiting…

This is what drives Media for the Missing: to help reunite missing loved ones, and name those only known by a case number.

How can one be aware if they are not made aware?
